Charges of Sex For a Fee to be Dismissed
Our client is a 68-year-old construction worker who owns a very successful lucrative Construction Company. In June of this year he was driving through an area of a Massachusetts city well known for a concentration of prostitutes. He pulled his car to the side of the street and parked. Within minutes a woman approached his window and asked him if he was interested in having a quote “date”. The man said yes and a fee was negotiated for oral sex. Unbeknownst to the man, the woman was an undercover police officer. He was summoned to court charged with sex for a fee in violation of G.L. c. 272 section 53. Notwithstanding his age, our client had a relatively significant criminal past. Nevertheless, the judge agreed to continue the case without a finding (CWOF) for 60 days. All charges will be dismissed provided he remains free from criminal legal trouble during that time period.
