Charges of Operating on a Revoked Driver’s License Dismissed
About 2 years ago we represented a man on an OUI case that was ultimately dismissed. Unfortunately, immediately following his arrest the Massachusetts police officer involved in the case successfully applied to the registry of motor vehicles for a licensed revocation stating that our client was an immediate threat and should not be operating motor vehicle. We were able to get the OUIcase dismissed. Nevertheless, our client started to drive without addressing the immediate threat license revocation. He was pulled over by the police and charged with operating with a suspended driver’s license in violation of G.L. c. 90 section 23. Today we were able to convince the district attorney and the judge to dismiss the charges against our client.
