Charges of Domestic Assault and Battery Against Flight Attendant Dismissed
This past summer our client, a flight attendant with a major airline company, was visiting Massachusetts with his wife who was also a flight attendant. The two had been drinking for several hours and decided to walk it off and get something to eat. During their walk and argument ensued. The argument turned physical. Several witnesses including a police officer claimed to have observed our client strike his wife, throw her to the ground and push her. He was immediately arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery in violation of G.L. c. 265 section 13M. Our office was hired immediately. We secured a personal recognizance release for our client as well as permission for him to return to Florida where he lives and where he is based for employment. The man has a pending application and interview to become a pilot for a major commercial airline. Any conviction or attribution of responsibility for this crime would end his employment and well as his professional aspirations. Today, attorney Neyman succeeded in getting all charges dismissed.
