Charges of Assault and Battery to Intimidate and Trespass and Disturbing the Peace Against Software Sales Executive to be Dismissed (CWOF)
Our client is a top software sales executive who lives and works on the west coast. In June of this year he was in Massachusetts for business purposes. He went to a well-known bar/restaurant after a long day of work. There, he ended up drinking much more than he is accustomed to. He started to argue with patrons of the establishment and he was asked to leave. For some time he did not. Subsequently, he went outside and started an argument with a woman who identified as gay. The argument became physical and he struck the woman. The police were called. The man was arrested and charged with assault and battery to intimidate, G.L. c. 265 section 39, trespassing, G.L. c. 266 section 120 and disorderly person, G.L. c. 272 section 53. Our office succeeded in having the case continued without a finding for a few months (CWOF). All charges will soon be dismissed.
