Westford

With an estimated population of about 22,000 people, Westford is a north Massachusetts city that is part of greater Boston and greater Lowell. It was originally an agricultural town that broke off from Chelmsford in 1729, but became a suburb of Lowell during that city’s boom years in the Industrial Revolution. In the late twentieth century, Westford began collecting employers in its own right, benefiting from the concentration of technology companies along the Route 128 corridor. Westford residents use the Ayer District Court to the west in Ayer, which also serves residents of that town and Ashby, Dunstable, Boxborough, Groton, Devens, Pepperell, Townsend, Shirley and Littleton.

People accused of crimes in Westford or anywhere else in eastern Massachusetts should contact the Law Office of Stephen Neyman for help. We represent people of all ages and backgrounds in criminal proceedings related to all types of crimes. Our past cases in the greater Lowell area include cases regarding traffic violations, drinking and driving/OUI, drug possession, drug manufacture and sales, assault and battery, domestic violence, burglary, theft, fraud, sexual assault and more. We also represent people in related matters, including probation violations, restraining orders and bail hearings. A bail hearing is a hearing held after your arrest, to help determine whether you should be kept in custody and if so, how much bail you should be required to pay for your freedom. Representation at this hearing is crucial, because it can make the difference between high bail that can keep you behind bars and little or no bail.
