Gun Charges Against Suspected Drug Dealer Dismissed
Back in May of this year our office won a motion to suppress an unlawful stop, search and seizure of guns for a suspected drug dealer. The man had been charged with possessing a large capacity feeding device in violation of G.L. c. 269 section 10(m), carrying a loaded firearm under G.L. c. 269 section 10(n), carrying a firearm, G.L. c. 269 section 10(a), possessing a firearm without an FID card, G.L. c. 269 section 10(h) possession of ammunition, also in violation of G.L. c. 269 section 10(h) and improper storage of a firearm, G.L. c. 140 section 131L. Today, the district attorney recognized an inability to proceed with the case and all charges were dismissed.
